Congratulations to Helen Flanagan, 24, and Scott Sinclair, 26, after the safe arrival of their daughter Matilda Jessica Sinclair on Monday.
Celebrating their new addition, doting daddy Scott has since posted a family snap with the caption: ‘Best day of my life welcome to the world Matilda Jessica Sinclair’
And it wasn’t just Scott’s ‘best day,’ social media lover Helen has also shared a series of intimate snaps of her ‘beautiful little girl.’
‘The man I love and our world,’ the former Coronation Street star captioned one adorable picture of the new daddy cradling his baby girl.
Following the birth on Monday in Birmingham, a close friend to the pair has told The Sun newspaper: ‘Helen is exhausted but doing well. It is a very exciting time for both of their families.’
While Helen continues to recover, her sister Jessica has also revealed the meaning behind her niece’s name.
‘Congratulations to my beautiful sister Helen and to Scott on the birth of my beautiful niece, Matlida Jessica,’ she wrote. So honored to have her middle name named after me. Can’t wait to be home in a couple of weeks to meet, love and cuddle her.’
After meeting in 2009, Helen has been in a relationship with footballer Scott for six years now. The lovers moved in together in 2011 – before announcing Helen was pregnant with their first child in December.
