Helen Flanagan is having some nasty side effects as her due date gets closer
She might be getting close to giving birth but poor Helen Flanagan is still suffering in her pregnancy.
The 24-year-old actress – who is expecting her first child with footballer boyfriend Scott Sinclair – is once again experiencing the terrible morning sickness that affected her during the first few months of carrying her little one – nooo!
Luckily though Helen has discovered a way of combatting the nausea, though it’s TOTALLY not what we’d have expected.
The mum-to-be revealed her secret on Tuesday when she posted on Instagram: ‘So my morning sickness has come back 👹👹

Yep, Helen is downing the lemon and lime fizzy drink to battle her sickly feelings. It turns out that she isn’t the only one doing it though.
One fan commented on Helen‘s photo of the beverage: ‘I know how you feel I’m 36 weeks and my morning sickness came back about 2 weeks ago & I find sprite works wonders aswell ☺️ x’
Other followers recommended a variety of products to help, from ginger biscuits to peppermint sweets.
Unfortunately sickness isn’t the only thing that’s been bothering pregnant Helen. The former Coronation Street star has also been afflicted by issues with her back.
‘Off to see my physio #back 🚶🚶🚶x,’ she captioned a selfie on Wednesday as she proudly rested a hand on her tummy.
Helen‘s bump is certainly getting big now; the actress is due to give birth in June so she’s not got long to go – exciting! Let’s hope the sickness and back problems ease up for the remainder of her pregnancy.
With just weeks to go until her baby arrives, it seems fitting then that Helen shared a throwback photo of herself as a tot to celebrate her sister’s birthday this week.
The TV star posted an old snap of big sis Jane holding her as a little ‘un and sent a cute message to her elder sibling.
‘Happy birthday to my beautiful sister @janeoflan love you ❤️x,’ Helen wrote.
